Where is Boxful available?

Our services are currently available in Taipei. We are quickly expanding and will serve more areas in the near future. So please sign up and we will let you know when we've reached your area!

What are your hours of operation?

Our delivery time slots are open from 9am to 9pm, Monday through Sunday except for statutory holidays. Our customer service hours are available from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Sunday except for public holidays. Feel free to e-mail us at [email protected] during our off hours and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Will my boxes/items be stored in a secure location? Where?

Most definitely! Our warehouses are located at Xizhi. The warehouse is not open to the public and is under 24-hour surveillance. We also ensure that boxes are tamper-proof and protected from the elements, such as fire, dust, humidity and water.

Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose the exact location of our warehouse for security reasons.

Can I go to the warehouse and access/drop off things by myself?

For the security reasons, we don't allow public access to our warehouses. Only our staff is permitted to access the facility. We make storage super simple by handling all your pick-up and delivery needs so that you never have to step foot in a storage facility again!

What security measures do you have at your warehouse?

Our storage facility is protected with ADT security system, 24-hour CCTV, temperature control, humidity control. No one from the public can get in.

In addition, our warehouses are fully equipped with fire detection alarms, automatic fire sprinkler systems, and fire hose reels.

What is covered under your insurance policy?

We provide coverage for losses and damage to your property while in transit to and from the storage facility and while stored in our warehouse.

It does not protect against damages due to natural disasters such as floods, tidal waves, earthquakes, etc.

How do you protect my credit card information?

We work with Paypal to ensure that your credit card details are 100% secure. In fact, we do not store any of your credit card information - when you submit your payment details they are encrypted and passed onto Paypal directly.

How does billing work?

Billing is automatic so you don’t have to worry about it. After you have placed an order, your card is authorized but not charged. Once your boxes/items have made its way safely to our warehouse for storage, you'll be charged monthly the day after you start storing with us (i.e if your pick-up takes place on the 8th of August, your first payment will be on the 9th of August, and your next payment would take place on the 9th of September). We accept Paypal and all major credit cards.

Can I store my things for less than 1 month?

Yes, absolutely! We have a monthly billing cycle so you will be billed for one month of storage.

Do you prorate refunds?

Storage is always charged in monthly increments - there are no prorated charges, weekly rates, or discount(s) for taking your things out of storage early.

How do I cancel or terminate my storage plan?

To cancel or terminate your plan, please make sure you retrieve all your boxes/items before your next billing date and you will only be charged until the end of your current billing month.

How do I file an insurance claim if necessary?

Send an email to [email protected] and we will work with you to put together a claim.

When filing a claim, please include the following information:
- Subject Line: Insurance Claim for (Last Name, First Name)
- Date the box/item was returned to you
- Barcode ID on the box/item containing damaged or missing items
- Detailed inventory list and replacement value of items in NTD
- Specific description of loss or damage as it pertains to each item
- Your contact information (Phone Number and E-mail)

We have yet to exercise a claim to date, so please rest assured that the security and safety of your belongings is our highest priority!

Are your storage facilities equipped with fire sprinklers and other fire safety equipment?

All of our storage facilities are equipped with automatic fire sprinkler systems, fire detection alarms, fire extinguishers and fire hose reels.

How do you know if your fire safety equipment is functioning?

Annual fire safety checks have been conducted and passed at all of our building premises by certified fire safety companies approved by the Taiwan National Fire Agency.

Are your storage facility areas divided into separate rooms?

All of our storage facilities operate in an open space plan and customers’ belongings are physically separated by location. As such, our storage facilities are not divided into partitions, sub-units or cubicles.

Can I access the storage facility?

Access to our storage facilities is restricted to staff members only. Customers can enjoy our door-to-door delivery services from the comforts of their homes or offices.

Will there be any insurance claims in case of destruction?

We provide free insurance coverage to all of our customers' stored items against fire and other types of damages. The following insurance coverage is included free of charge under each of our services:
- By-the-Item: up to a maximum of $4,000 per box or item
- By-Square-Feet: up to $4,000 per box or item with a maximum cap of $40,000 per plan

Will flammable or toxic items be stored in your warehouse?

All customers are not allowed to store any prohibited items, including all types of flammable items. Our moving teams reserve the rights to reject any prohibited items during pick-ups.

How does it work?

It's easy! Just sign up for an account online and schedule a free drop-off. Our moving team will arrive at your home on the scheduled day to drop-off durable plastic boxes and tamper-proof security fasteners. We'll wait up to 20 minutes while you pack your stuff, or you may schedule a pick-up for a later day. Our moving team will then help secure your boxes and transport them directly to our secure storage facility.

When you want something back, sign into your account and select exactly which boxes you want returned (every box has a special ID). We'll bring your things back on the date and time of your choosing!

What can and can't I store?

You can store anything from clothes to books to DVDs, camping gear, and other seasonal items - as long as it fits in the box and doesn't exceed the weight limit of 20kg per box (the weight limit of document box or wardrobe box is 15kg). We ask that you use common sense when packing, so no perishables, glass or fragile items (or pack at your own risk), explosives and flammables, hazardous materials or illegal substances of any kind.

Please refrain from storing anything that is alive (or was recently alive), items that might raise suspicious behavior and things that might smell over time. In a nutshell, anything that is legal, non-hazardous, and non-perishable is perfectly fine!

How many boxes/items can I store?

You can store to a maximum number of 50 Standard Boxes, 20 Wardrobe Boxes, 20 Oversized Items and 50 Document Boxes. Box limit per drop off is 25 Standard Boxes, 10 Wardrobe Boxes, 10 Oversized Items and 25 Document Boxes.

Do you offer insurance protection for my items?

Absolutely. Each box comes with free insurance up to the value of $4,000 from the moment it's handed over to our moving team, while in transit, and once it's in our warehouse. We do not, however, insure fragile items - glass, China, TVs, etc. If you are storing fragile items, please make sure they are wrapped properly and carefully packed to ensure safety during transport.

How does the online access of stored items work?

Our website (and very soon, our mobile app) offers a simple way to keep track of the items you store with us. After your pick-up is scheduled, our moving team will quickly walk you through the process and answer any questions you might have.

Will you open my boxes?

Unless we are bound by legal requirements to do so, we will never open your boxes without your consent! We will not touch, shift or remove any items belonging to you.

Might my boxes be damaged in transit?

We promise to always handle your boxes with utmost care. The boxes themselves are extremely durable and are driven directly to our storage facility in our secured vans. But of course, accidents sometimes happen and that's where our insurance program kicks in.

Are the boxes reusable / recyclable?

Absolutely! We value sustainability and leaving the smallest carbon footprint possible. For this reason, our boxes are made with commercial grade, HDPE plastic - sturdy enough to be reused again and again. They are designed for active use for ten years and are 100% recyclable. We ensure that each box goes through a thorough cleaning and disinfecting process before being sent to you.

How much will it cost me?

Our storage plans start at $99 per document box, $119 per standard storage box, $219 per oversized item, $319 per wardrobe box, per month, no minimums! Every time you order new boxes, you get a free drop-off and pick-up. We drop off empty boxes for you to pack up and pick up your packed boxes free of charge.

For retrieval trip, the fee is $99+$50/box. For customers who are re-packing any of their retrieved boxes for storage, the return trip is free. If you do not wish to re-store any of your retrieved boxes and are able to return the empty boxes within 20 mins, the return trip is free too. Otherwise, this will incur $99+$50/box.

If boxes already in storage but I wish to order more, what is the charge for this new order?

If existing customer have already stored items in warehouse and require more boxes, the newly ordered boxes’ first payment will be charged based on prorate rate (storage fee ÷ 30 days × number of days starting from the day after boxes stored in warehouse to the day of billing cycle), after which storage fees will be charged at regular rate per month.

If the first batch of boxes’ fees are charged on 1st of every month and the delivery team picks up the second batch of boxes on 15th June, the first and second monthly fee for the second batch of boxes will be charged on 1st July. First monthly fee for this batch of boxes will be charged as prorate rate calculated starting from 16th June to 30th June (15 days). At this rate, each standard storage box’s prorate rate will be $119 ÷ 30 days x 15 days = $60, rounding to the next dollar. Second monthly fee for this batch of boxes will be charged at regular rate $119.

How do I use a promo code?

5 easy steps for using a promo code:

What happens if I need to frequently move things back and forth? How much will that cost?

As long as you give us at least 24-hour notice beforehand, you can move your boxes in and out of storage as often as you like! For return trips, the fee is $99+$50/box. For customers who are re-packing any of their retrieved boxes for storage, the return trip is free. If you do not wish to re-store any of your retrieved boxes and are able to return the empty boxes within 20 mins, the return trip is free too. Otherwise, this will incur $99+$50/box.

What if I don't know how many boxes I need? Do I pay for those I don't use?

If you're not sure how many boxes to order, we recommend that you order extra, just in case. When our moving team comes to collect your filled boxes for storage, just return any empty boxes you don't use at that time. We only charge for the boxes you store.

How do I update my contact information?

After you've signed in, you can click on "Menu", look for "My Info". You can update your full name and phone. To update your current address, we charge a change address fee (please refer to our terms and conditions). Please call us at 0800-050-777 or e-mail us at [email protected] to change your address.

What sizes are your boxes?

We currently offer three kinds of boxes. The dimensions of the standard storage box are 56cm (L) x 39cm (W) and 33cm (H); The dimensions of the wardrobe box are 50cm (L) x 50 (W) and 105cm (H), the weight limit is 15kg. The dimensions of the document box are 42cm (L) x 34cm (W) and 27cm (H), the weight limit is 12kg.

How do I secure the boxes?

First step, snap it shut. Second step, our moving team will offer you a tamper-proof fastener at no extra cost. Make your mark on the tab part of the fastener with a permanent marker and fasten. Done! (The fastener is not applicable for wardrobe box and document box)

Is there a weight limit on the boxes?

Our moving team moves a lot of boxes every day, so as a courtesy to them, we ask you to limit each box to a maximum of 20kg (the weight limit of document box or wardrobe box is 15 kg). We offer sizable boxes, so if you were to pack it all with books, it would get pretty heavy. You would be doing our movers a tremendous favor by splitting heavier items over multiple boxes and mixing them with lighter items such as clothing.

Can I use my own boxes?

Yes, you could use your own boxes. Each box will be treated as an oversized item charged at $219 per month. Each box must be comfortably carried by one person and its weight limit is 20kg.

Can you pack for me?

We're more than happy to transport and store your possessions but we are unfortunately unable to pack boxes on your behalf.

Do I need to have my items packed before Boxful drops off the empty boxes?

After we dropped off the empty boxes, you have up to 2 weeks to pack your items. During this period, you can label and take an aerial photo of your packed boxes so you know what you've stored in all the boxes anytime!

However, to save you time, our moving team could also wait up to 20 minutes upon drop off and pick up the packed boxes in one go. So we recommend having your storage items organized and set aside so you can quickly and smoothly load them into the boxes.

Will you wait while I pack / unpack my boxes?

Yes! Our moving team will wait up to 20 minutes for you to pack and/or unpack your boxes. But due to a tight pick-up and delivery schedule, they are unable to wait past the allotted 20 minutes which is why we ask that you have your storage items organized beforehand so you can quickly pack / unpack your items.

Can I cancel or change a drop-off/ pick-up / delivery?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you may do so as late as 6:00 pm the day before. Just sign into your account, under "Menu" then "Schedule", you can cancel your existing booking and submit a new one. Changes made after 6:00 pm the day before your appointment are subject to a $500 late cancellation fee.

What if I need to cancel after I've already received the empty boxes for packing?

That's totally fine, just let us know and we'll send our moving team to collect the boxes from your home. Please note that there is a flat "empty box pickup" fee of $750.

Can I rent your boxes without storing them?

We don't see why not! If you do not schedule a pick-up within two weeks of the initial delivery, we'll automatically start your billing cycle. It's the same price as storage - $119 per box per month.

How should I label boxes and how to upload photos?

In order for you to keep track of what's stored in each of your boxes, we recommend taking pictures of the items you'll be storing and adding a name and description as well. Each of our boxes have a unique ID and bar code attached on the side. You can take pictures of your boxes and upload them into the virtual catalogue with the corresponding box ID.

I'm here but your moving team is MIA!

We're sorry about that! While our moving team does their best to ensure that they arrive at your selected time of delivery, this may happen occasionally on very busy days. Please contact our customer support team at 0800-050-777 or e-mail [email protected] We'll locate the driver and update you on their ETA.

How much advanced notice do you need for delivery?

For all deliveries, the earliest you can book for is the next business day assuming the chosen time block is vacant and the booking is completed before the cutoff at 6pm the previous day.

For rare emergency situations, you may contact our customer support team at 0800-050-777 or e-mail [email protected] and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

How do I get my stuff back?

It's easy! Just sign in to your account, click on "Menu" then "My Stuff" to select "Send Back" of the boxes you want delivered back to you. Then go to "Schedule Delivery" and select a date and time that works for you. We ask that you provide us at least 24-hour notice for box return. If you have further questions or require additional assistance, please e-mail us at [email protected] or call us at 0800-050-777.

Can I ship my boxes to another region or country?

Unfortunately, we currently don't offer this service.

How do I schedule a pickup?

Simply sign up for or sign in to your account and our website will take you through the rest of the process. It'll take you less than two minutes!

I moved. How do I get my stored items back?

While we currently do not provide moving services, we are more than happy to help you through the process. If you moved to an area where Boxful is operational, we charge a change address fee (please refer to our terms and conditions) for customers to change the current address. Please call us at 0800-050-777 or send us a message at [email protected] to find out how we can help you ship your stuff to your new home.

You dropped off some boxes but I'd like them picked up in batches as we pack. Is there an extra charge for this?

There's one free pick-up included with your empty box drop-off. For multiple pick-ups of the same batch we dropped off, there is a fee of $99 +50/box.

What happens if I'm a "no-show" for my appointment?

Our moving team will wait for up to 20 minutes while trying to get in touch with you. If you're still a no-show after 20 minutes, we'll have to charge you $500. No one likes being stood up!

After receiving boxes, how long can I hold onto them between appointments?

Upon receiving your empty boxes, you have two weeks to schedule a pick-up. After two weeks, your monthly billing cycle of $119 per box will start.

I’m switching storage service providers, can you guys help?

Thank you so much for believing in Boxful! When you sign up, please fill in your actual home address as your drop off and pick up location. However, please let us know the specific location of the storage facility in the “special instructions” box before you confirm the order. On the day of drop off, we ask that you meet us outside the storage facility first. Remember, our delivery crew can wait up to 20mins for you to pack the Boxful boxes and pick them up right away!

Can I have my boxes returned to a different address?

Certainly! However, we charge a change address fee (please refer to our terms and conditions) for customers to update the current address. Please call us at 0800-050-777 or e-mail us at [email protected] to find out how we can help you ship your stuff to your new home.

Will your driver bring boxes down from and up to my flat?

If customer’s address is only accessible via stairs, which includes from loading / unloading area* to the building, you are required to pay the stairs fee in accordance to our stairs policy. An additional stairs fee of $20 per box/item (full) per level will be charged for up to 5 levels and required to be settled by debit card along with monthly fee.

If I can’t unpack/repack my storage boxes within 20 minutes, what should I do?

Don’t worry, if you are not able to re-pack your boxes within 20 minutes, but plan to re-store one or more of your retrieved boxes, simply schedule an appointment for the delivery team to pick up your boxes on a later date and this will be free of charge.

However, if you do not wish to re-store any of the boxes and are not able to return the boxes to us within 20 minutes, you will need to schedule another appointment on a different date for the delivery team to pick up your empty boxes. Please note we will charge a transportation fee of $99+$50/box.

How does Boxful By-the-Square Feet work?

Boxful By-the-Square Feet provides an all-in-one storage solution for users to conveniently store their items (be it large or small) without the hassle of having to move or visit a storage facility. Our storage options range in size from 12 sq. ft to 48 sq. ft. We make storage simple by providing door-to-door pickup and delivery service. The process is quick and can be easily done online.

How is Boxful By-the-Square Feet different from other mini self-storage?

We provide door-to-door pickup and delivery service, so you will never have to visit a storage facility again. We take care of all the heavy-lifting, so you don’t have to go through the frustration of moving your own stuff and digging through boxes to find what you need.

How do I know which plan is suitable for me?

We offer a range of storage spaces from 12 sq.ft to 48 sq.ft. Please call us at 0800-050-777 and our customer service representatives will be able to advise you on a suitable plan based on the information you provided.

What can I store? Can I store furniture?

You can store pretty much anything as long as it’s not illegal, dangerous or perishable. For list of prohibited items, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

Yes, we are able to store your furniture or bulky items (except piano) provided it fits into our vans and storage units. Please give us a call at 0800-050-777 for further details.

What is the minimum storage period?

Our minimum storage period is 3 months.

How do you insure the safety of my items?

We provide customers with an insurance policy and is committed to the security and safety of your stored items. If you are storing fragile items, please make sure they are wrapped properly and carefully packed to ensure safety during transport. We are not responsible for items that are damaged because they were improperly packed. Please review our Terms & Conditions for detailed information.

What is the policy if one or more of my items is damaged or lost?

The safety and security of your items is our top priority. Our delivery team ensures that everything is photographed and packed properly before loading onto our truck. We also provide customers with an insurance policy that will cover loss or damage of your items of up to $40,000 for each storage plan.

When will I be charged?

    The charge for initial Pick-up is NTD$500 per trip, which includes 30 minutes of free onsite labor.(For 36 sq. ft plan there is a charge of $1000 per trip. For 48 sq. ft plan there is a charge above $1000 per trip and for 72 sq. ft plan there is a charge above $2000 per trip)

    For 12 & 24 sq. ft plan, the charge for a partial or final return is $500 per trip, which includes 30 minutes of free onsite labor. (For 36 sq. ft plan there is a charge of $1000 per trip.   • Photo-Taking Service of Stored Items
    FREE - if requested upon scheduling or during pick-up
    $500 flat fee - if requested after items has been stored

  • Assembling and Dismantling Fee
    For items that require assembling or dismantling during the moving process, a fee of $500 per item will be charged.

  • Carpark Fees
    Any parking fees incurred during loading or offloading at customer's carpark or premises will be charged to the customer.

    Does Boxful By-The-Square Feet offer any packing materials or supplies?

    We provide basic packing materials such as cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, tape, and film wrap to protect your items while moving.

    Do I need to have my items packed before your team arrives?

    Yes. We try to help as many customers as we can, so our goal is to complete your pick-up as quickly as possible.     Can I pay for packing help?

    Will your team wait while I pack my boxes/items?

    To minimize additional time needed for your pick-up, it's best to pack your items in advance before we arrive.

    If you are unprepared, you can always reschedule your pick-up. There is no fee to reschedule or cancel a pick-up as long as you let us know at least before 6pm two days in advance prior to your pick-up.

    Who is responsible for packing delicate items?

    For items you have packed beforehand, it’s up to you to ensure they have been packed correctly. If you’re not sure if you wrapped up something properly, just leave the box open. We are happy to repack or re-wrap to ensure that everything can be transported and stored safely. Let us know ahead of time and we can bring the all the appropriate packing materials for delicate items.

    My elevator might not be able to fit some of the large-sized furniture. What should I do?

    If you have large-sized furniture which might not fit in your elevator, we will recommend you to dismantle into smaller parts for easy transportation. Please give us a call at 0800-050-777 prior to your pickup and we will advise whether it will possible for us to take the item based on the information you provide.

    How much advance notice do I need to schedule a pick-up?

    Pick-up requires at least 72 hours notice prior to the cut-off time at 3pm and is subject to availability of our time slots.

    How do I schedule a pick-up?

    How do I re-schedule or cancel a pick-up?

    As long as you call to cancel or reschedule your appointment before 3pm three days prior to your scheduled pick-up time, there is no cancellation fee. Cancellations or rescheduling after 3pm three days prior to your appointment will incur a $1,000 cancellation fee.

    How do I schedule a return delivery?

    You can schedule a return delivery online or by giving us a call at 0800-050-777.

    What if I want all my stuff back?

    Simply log in to your account and select all of your items and specify a return date for your final drop-off.

    If you schedule a final drop-off before the minimum storage term is up, your account will be charged for the months remaining on the minimum term.

    How do you keep track of all my stored items and make sure they are all returned to me?

    During your initial pickup we apply IDs to each item, and photograph everything so there is a record of what’s in storage and what condition it was received in. We make sure to complete the photographing during the pick-up so if the worst should happen, we can reimburse up to $40,000 in loss or damages.

    Please note we cannot guarantee the contents of the box if we are not able to see what’s in it. We will still be responsible for returning the box, but the contents cannot be insured if we cannot verify that they are packed properly to prevent damage.     How much advance notice is needed to schedule a return?

    Return delivery requires at least 72-hour notice and is subject to availability. The cut-off time for scheduling is 3pm for all deliveries.

    I moved to a new place and would like my items to be delivered back to a new address. Are there any extra charges?

    As long as your new address is within our service network, there will be no extra charges. For addresses outside of our covered areas or regions, please give us a call at 0800-050-777 before scheduling your appointment.

    What happens if I'm a "no-show" for my appointment?

    Our moving team will wait for up to 20 minutes while trying to get in touch with you. If you're still a no-show after 20 minutes, we'll have to charge you $2,000. No one likes being stood up!
